acrylic, plastic, wood filler, steel, aluminum leaf, and crackle glazes on wood

-painting about the difference between what people think and say (if you look you will see thought bubbles and speach bubble with metaphorical images inside). this rather large piece features ukrainian brother artists, sergei and ilya isupov, california fiber artist, kristina detwiller, and washington glass artist, alicia lomne. the setting for this little party is the porch on the pottery studio at the penland school of crafts in nc. this piece is a companion to two other paintings, "monkey man" and "pepper popper".
